Student Crop Walk 2023
We understand the challenges of attracting graduates and younger individuals to the agricultural industry and regional areas. While agronomy and consultancy career paths are commonly recognized, our event aims to increase visibility and awareness of other career focus areas and prospects. The Student Crop Walk provides a unique platform for students to explore diverse career options within the industry. This event is also a fantastic opportunity for students to meet with early career industry leaders, where we highlight the importance of passion and curiosity within Agriculture.
Time: 10:00 am to 3:30 pm (arrive after 9:30 am).
Travel: WMG is unable to organise a bus from Perth. We recommend that the university or student association organises a bus. However, the farm is not difficult to find, and roads are good so students could easily travel by car. Please note that Velyere farm does have gravel roads.
Food: Lunch and snacks will be provided, including vegan and halal options.
