In this three-day Masterclass Amit will share his inspiration and skills in both a studio and plein air setting. His teaching will focus on how to use perspective, combined with the play of light and shadow, to create a dynamic painting.
The Masterclass includes:

How to do thumbnail sketches before beginning a painting

The importance of drawing and sketching

Fundamentals of Composition (Golden Rules)

How to simplify a complicated composition

Daily demonstrations

How to paint street scenes

Says Amit:
“Painting with watercolours is one of my greatest delights and has now become an addiction! It is a way for me to visually express my creativity within an environment of great tranquility. Inspired by the Impressionists, I see things as an impression of colours. I love to be expressive with bold strokes, a colourful palette and allowing the brush go with the flow.”

Cancellation Policy:
Covid-19
Plein Air Down Under will be following the directive of Australia’s Chief Medical Officer. If the directive is to cancel the event, all Artist Registrations, Masterclass and Workshop fees will be refunded in full within four weeks of the cancellation date.
Refunds not related to a Covid-19 event cancellation
1. Artist Registration fees are non-refundable.
2. Participants who cancel a Masterclass registration more than 30 days before the event will incur a 20% retention fee.
3. Participants who cancel a Masterclass registration less than 30 days before the event will not receive a refund, however may transfer their place to another participant/person.
4. All refunds that are due are issued after the festival weekend is over.
