Nancy Bates
Nancy Bates is a Barkindji Woman, and an accomplished singer-songwriter. From international tours to song writing with prisoners, Nancy’s musical career has taken nearly every form possible. She was under the wings of national treasure Archie Roach for several years as a backing vocalist and guitarist for his wonderful songs and music. She tours nationally and internationally as one of the finest singer-songwriters in Australia.
Glenn Skuthorpe
With 6 highly regarded albums and music featured in movies and documentaries such as The Emu Runner and John Pilger’s Utopia, Nhunggabarra, Kooma man and international touring singer-songwriter Glenn Skuthorpe is a powerful lyricist and composer who gives voice to those whose stories must be heard. A compelling performer whose playing style is captivating, engaging audiences in the stories behind his journeys. Following a string of highly successful tours including Port Fairy Folk Festival, Saltwater Freshwater Festival, Byron Bay Blues Fest, Woodford, The Gulf Country Frontier Days Festival, Cygnet, Calgary and Edmonton Folk Festivals, Germany, Canada & the UK, prepare for an infusion of genres with vibes of urban street blues to open plains and wide-open skies.
Jungaji
Jungaji is a song man who is one of only a small group of Australian First Nations fluent Gu Gu Yalanji speakers and song men left in the world today. He is the keeper of ancient song-lines & stories, a visual artist, playwright, and activist hailing from Queensland. He has embarked on a new creative path, fusing rnb/soul to create a unique and authentic sound that showcases his cultural roots.
Kyarna Rose
Kyarna is a gifted songwriter and vocalist originating from the Yuin Nation. The audience will love her authenticity, rawness, harmonies and soulful sound. Kyarna has recently relocated from NSW to South Australia and her debut single, Never Too Far Gone, saw the track peak at number 4 on the Australian Country iTunes Chart.
Scott Rathman ‘JNR’
Scott Rathman ‘JNR’, a descendent of the Arrernte people of central Australia, plays his own country/coutry-rock songs. Influences include Chris Stapleton and Troy Cassar-Daley, but Scott's style is his own.

There is an exhibition of art by Aboriginal artist Sam Gollen taking place in conjunction with the concert. It will run from Thursday 24 August to Sunday 27 August. The official opening will be on Friday 25 August - here is the link to obtain a free ticket to the opening - Exhibition Opening
