The Lamm Jewish Library of Australia proudly presents a conversation between award-winning investigative journalist Silvia Foti and renowned Melbourne author and freelance journalist Julie Szego as they delve into Foti's groundbreaking research and her remarkable book, Storm in the Land of Rain.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Foti penned Storm in the Land of Rain after a promise to her late-mother that she would write a book about her famous grandfather, Jonas Noreika, who was a Lithuanian WWII hero.
Silvia had no idea that in keeping this promise, her discoveries would bring her to a personal crisis which challenged her faith, unearthed Holocaust denial and exposed an official cover-up to protect the truth about her grandfather, and his involvement in massacres of Jews in Lithuania.

Silvia Foti is the author of the memoir Storm in the Land of Rain and is an award-winning investigative journalist and literature teacher.
ABOUT JULIE SZEGO:
Julie Szego is renown Melbourne author and freelance journalist. She has taught journalism and creative non-fiction at RMIT, Monash and Melbourne universities.
