Alex and Evie and the Forever Falling Rain is a narrative play, which follows two friends,who dare, one rainy afternoon, to change the world.Evie just moved to a place where it’s always raining. It’s rained every minute of every day ofevery year, forever. No one knows why. But this year, before her 10th birthday, Evie decides she’s going to stop the rain. And then Alex arrives at her door.
Evie doesn’t trust him but, as her closest confidant (her cat, Amadazeus) points out, the rain isn’t something you can stop alone. And so, the adventure, and the greatest friendship of all time, begins.
The show is a whimsical whirlwind of puppetry, shadow play, and character comedy.
Tickets have been priced to encourage families to make an evening of it.
We hope to see a packed venue with lots of families enjoying the summer evenings entertainment whilst enjoying a BYO picnic.
