Sam Muir: Intro & Refresher Finger Style Ukulele and Tab (SOLD OUT)
Dr. Samantha Muir is a classical guitarist, ukulele and machete player with an international reputation and wide repertoire. This workshop is suitable for those returning to playing tab and finger style ukulele and also players wishing to learn these techniques. Tab is a simple but very effective way to show ukulele fingering without the need to read music. Sam's style is clear, methodical and very approachable and fun! In this workshop she will use a number of well known tunes that anyone can learn finger style on the ukulele and set you on the path to ukulele melody making and finger style accompaniment.
All attendees will receive, in advance, a workbook with a range of well known tunes (and a couple of "new" nice folk songs arranged for the ukulele). Please note if you attended Sam's workshops in 2019 the 2023 session will cover all new material.
