About
Dr. Samantha Muir is a classical guitarist, ukulele and machete player with an international reputation and wide repertoire. This workshop will look at how ukulele groups can play together as an ensemble. They will add simple chordal or arpeggio accompaniments to melodies. Participants will learn to play in "parts" and build the parts into a "whole", as members of an ensemble. This workshop is an ideal follow up to the "Tab Refresher" and/or "Chords; Strum, Pick and Roll" workshops. A selection of pieces will be covered including "Don Cato" and " Amazing Grace". A workshop booklet will be provided before the event.
