The Australian Volleyball Super League (AVSL) is a new commercial, broadcast and entertainment volleyball product which presents an opportunity for athletes, coaches, officials and fans to share the enjoyment of an exciting and fast paced experience. It is designed to reach new audiences and media while boosting the profile of the sport. The game format will look a little different with 5 compulsory sets to 18, power plays and no timeouts.The Scape Queensland Pirates will contest the League along with 5 other states:
Adelaide Storm
Canberra Super Heat
NSW Phoenix
Melbourne Vipers
Perth Steel
Round 1
Saturday 12th August
Women from 6:30pm and Men to follow directly after
*Doors open 5:45pm
