Victoria Chorale presents two wonderful pieces of music with the Art of Sound Orchestra and conductor Mario Dobernig.
The concert includes a semi-staged performance of Purcell’s evocative opera Dido and Aeneas and Vivaldi’s short but majestic Magnificat in G minor.
The cast of 9 superb soloists includes Sally-Anne Russell (Dido), Christopher Tonkin (Aeneas) and Jessica Dean (Belinda)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE ACCESS TO THE CHURCH (for those with mobility issues)
Collins Street Baptist Church has 15 steps at its Collins Street entrance. If you are unable to manage these, you will need to enter from the back of the Church between 4.15 and 4.45 pm. Please ring Helen on 0438 071 001 in advance if you will be using this back entrance.
The back entrance is on Baptist Place, a laneway off Little Collins Street. It is right beside the Victoria Hotel
Have someone drop you on Collins Street just at Baptist Place, which is a very narrow laneway with no turning.
As you walk down Baptist Place you will see some glass doors at the back of the Church building. We’ll have a volunteer there who will help direct you further down the laneway footpath to a sliding doorway just before the grill fence. There will be another volunteer there to greet you and lead you in through the Church in a way which avoids all stairs,
