Join Cairns’ celebrated Chamber Music Ensemble, The Ensemble Paradiso, as we invite you on another uplifting musical journey. In this concert, we carry you “On Wings of Song”, transporting you to a musical atmosphere of grace and serenity. We perform beloved works - including Vaughan Williams’ “The Lark Ascending” for violin and Fauré’s hauntingly beautiful “Elegy” for cello. Acclaimed mezzo -soprano, Alteouise DeVaughn joins us in an array of famous operatic arias by Bizet, Saint Saens, and Gluck.We are thrilled to introduce young brilliant local pianist, Zac Wang, in his Ensemble Paradiso debut.
Platters may be booked in advance to enjoy from 4:00 pm, before the concert begins at 5:00.
