WCEI members in Victoria, Tasmania and the Asia Pacific region welcome all WCEI members to join us for an insightful discussion and meet potential mentors.

Varan Freestone will provide the inspiration for our mentoring discussion when she shares how a new business was created from following her dreams. The time is set so that members can join from three different countries.

Why a mentoring program?

Women mentoring women makes a difference. Alone we are invisible, together we are invincible.

According to the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership – In 2021 women held only 6% of Chief Executive Office (CEO) roles and 26% of positions in Executive Leadership Teams in ASX300 companies.

Corporate Women Directors International analysis shows the Asia-Pacific region continues to trail most other regions in appointing women to corporate boards, with women making up only 15.1% of board members compared to 37.6% in Northern Europe and 28.6% in the US and Canada.

Through a calendar of events, WCEI members share experiences, and motivate, support and inspire each other. We recognise and celebrate excellence and achievements and mentor one another through challenges and tough times.

About our Speaker Varan:

Varan Freestone, WCEI Past President Victoria, now lives in South Africa with zebras in her back yard. Varan is a woman who actions her dreams and visions without a business plan.
