Woolloomooloo Radical Walking Tour
Find out about Woolloomooloo's Radical history.
First Nations resistance, the militant class struggle events, women and queer organising, the green bans. All the people's history excluded from the annals of public memory because they challenge the order of colonial, then capitalist governments.
This expedition will stop at Aboriginal rebel sites, the green bans, discover the story of murdered journalist Juanita Neilson, convict organising sites, public housing battles and touch on the rich union history of the area.
The tour will be taken by activist journalist Tracey Carpenter. Organised by Green Left.
