As seen on TV's Whose Line is It Anyway?, Thank God You’re Here and Middleditch & Schwartz, improv is unscripted, unplanned, and totally made up theatre and comedy.On The Fly's Jam is an open event to all improvisors, both experienced and aspiring, to hang out in a friendly and comfortable environment to practice the stuff we love! It is facilitated by an experienced On The Fly instructor but is led by the participants. Bring along your ideas, games, things you want to practice, maybe something experimental or just bring yourself as you are :)
We'll start with a check-in, a touch of name learning, warm up with some exercises, and then let the jamming commence!
Prerequisites
None. All are welcome!Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so as to facilitate movement. Our classes involve verbal communication and physical movement, and participants are encouraged to participate to whatever extent their comfort permits. If you have any specific accessibility needs or questions please contact us!
