Bryony Anderson is a designer, maker, and creative director with a lifelong focus on resource stewardship. Currently Lead Maker and Head of Workshop at Terrapin Puppet Theatre, she has been working in puppetry and performance since 1997 with many Australian companies touring nationally and internationally, including Erth, Theatre of Image, Monkey Baa, Circus Monoxide, and Born in a Taxi. A drive to make locally relevant, high calibre work from frugal resources led to the establishment of One Off Makery in an off-grid shed in rural NSW in 2011, and a series of large scale participatory works. She has led over 120 workshops in rural, desert and urban communities, and continues to mentor emerging artists.
