Learning that a loved one has been diagnosed with MS can be an overwhelming experience. Learning more about MS is the first step in providing them with much needed support.The Plus Navigate Series Friends & Family is specifically for anyone who supports someone with MS.
If you have MS yourself, please contact Plus Connect on 1800 042 138 to register for a program specifically for you.
The two 75min sessions are run online. An MS expert will guide discussions, provide information, links to resources and answer any questions you may have. We’ll cover a range of topics including:
- understanding MS - symptoms, medications and terminology
- navigating the health system
- practical tips to support and communicate with someone with MS
- where to access help and support
- how to take care of yourself
