Merricks Beach - Living Culture guided walk

The Foreshore Committee is excited to partner again with Living Culture to offer a guided cultural walk on the Merricks Beach foreshore 10:30am Sunday 17 September 2023. The walk will take about 2 hours. In addition to learning about indigenous culture and bush tucker you will also participate in a Yidaki (didgeridoo) meditation session. We suggest a donation of $10 for each adult ticket reserved (plus 50 cent booking fee), with concession and children attending free. Numbers are limited, so reserve your ticket now.Living Culture is a not for profit organisation based on Mornington Peninsula which provides leisurely guided walks led sharing knowledge of traditional Indigenous bush tucker and medicinal plants. The walks aim to empower and educate people about the importance of keeping the aboriginal culture alive. Recent walks in the Merricks Beach Foreshore Reserve have been well attended and we are delighted to have Living Culture back again so more people can share the experience.
