About
The Partridge String Quartet will join our resident chamber musician Elyane Laussade (piano) to play Mendelssohn's String Quartet in F Minor Opus 80, Brahms Piano Quintet in F Minor Opus 34. plus more delicious chamber music.The Partridge String Quartet have received national recognition as winners of the 2019 Queensland International Chamber Music Competition and the 2017 Musica Viva Chamber Music Prize.
The quartet has collaborated with prominent Australian artist and are engaged in festivals, concert series and special projects around Australia.
Elyane Laussade is a graduate of the Juilliard school in New York City and has delighted audiences on five continents with her imaginative and strongly individual playing.
As a soloist, Elyane has performed in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Japan, South Africa, the USA and Europe. As a concerto soloist, she has played many concerti across the USA and in Australia.
