Susan Ashton and Tom McIlveen have a penchant for rhymes and music, and are hosting another popular Rhymers show in Wauchope on Sunday September 17.
They have invited special guest (and 'Man of Many Hats') Greg North, to return to Wauchope. Greg is one of Australia's most popular Performing Poets. During the winter months he is sharing his unique blend of comical skits and storytelling in rhyme with travelers at Winton (Qld) and will be heading south to join with local talent for this Rhymers gathering at Wauchope Community Arts Hall from 2-4pm on Sunday 17th September.
Greg, Susan and Tom have performed at festivals throughout Australia, including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, which attracts some of the country’s best poets and musicians.
This fun-filled afternoon promises to be brimming with great yarns, contemporary humour, and classic rhymes, interspersed with music and song from Susan and Tom (see pic above of Greg at the Arts hall earlier this year).
Entry $20; tickets available online or at the door from 1.30pm.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks available from the bar (cash preferred).
