Peregrine Falcons (SOLD OUT)
Peregrines are the fastest animals on earth and have adapted well to living in urban areas such as Melbourne’s CBD, where a breeding pair nest high on a skyscraper while their breeding journey is live streamed.
Dr Victor Hurley will discuss the key findings of nearly 30 years of field research on Peregrine Falcons across Victoria and some information on the breeding pair in Melbourne's CBD.
Dr Hurley is a wildlife ecologist who established the Victorian Peregrine Project. He has been the National President of Birdlife Australia's Raptor Group for 16 years and is currently its Victorian State Representative.
After registering you will be sent a Zoom link before the event.
This event is in partnership with Merri-bek Libraries.
