Textile drop-off day 2023
About
Drop off your ‘end-of-life’ textiles including clothing, bed linen, towels and tablecloths for free at the upcoming Textile drop-off day.This event will be held in the carpark of the IYU Recreation Reserve, Pakenham at 168 Henry Rd, Pakenham.
Drive in the main entrance of the reserve and follow signage and directions of staff. At the drop-off tent, you will be asked to place textiles on the table for sorting by staff.
Important info:
- Underwear is not accepted.
- All textiles and clothing must be clean and dry. Soiled or wet clothing can create mould and other issues during the recycling process and will not be accepted for recycling.
- Unacceptable items will need to be taken home with you and placed in your kerbside rubbish bin. Staff will not be able to dispose of additional items at this event.
