Join us in supporting Dementia Action Week by participating in this interactive Reflective Conversations Workshop. Understanding Dementia.
We will use the Exploring Diversity & Wellness Toolkit plus Elaine's Story to highlight the importance of providing safe and appropriate services to consumers living with dementia.
This workshop will:
- Demonstrate the daily challenges faced by carers, family members, friends and people caring for someone living with dementia.
- Help you consider inclusive service principles and strengthen consumer-centered care in relation to diversity, wellness and reablement.
- Provide an opportunity to self-reflect on how the Aged Care Quality Standards can be met against your own organisational structure and self-assessments in relation to people living with dementia.
