What is comic acting? How can you act ‘funny’?
This workshop will look at the principles of comic performance and try to work out how to become a better comic actor. While there will be some discussion, this will also be a practical session, so come prepared to be amusing. And amused.
It is open to actors, non-actors, school students and anyone who is interested in comedy.
The workshop will be run by Francis Greenslade, current Billilla Studio Artist Program resident.
Francis has been working as an actor and specifically a comic actor for over thirty years. He is well known for his performances on Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell and his role as Brian Gross on Channel 7’s Winners and Losers.
