ART FACE OFF!
Portraying the human face has captivated artists throughout the ages. Artist, Kristine Ballard is ready to show you that everyone can capture a portrait of a person artistically if they are shown how. She will show you what to look for and different ways to render what you see in a variety of mediums - pencil, paint, clay and collage. You will learn different ways other master artists interpret a face artistically too.
All equipment supplied. No skills required, just enthusiasm and a love for creating.
Ages 5-8: 3.45 - 5pm
Ages 9+: 5.15 - 6.30pm
Week 1 18th Oct: Learning the features of a face
Week 2 25th Oct: Silhouette self portraits
Week 3 1st Nov: Portraits in 3D
Week 4 8th Nov: Charcoal heads
Week 5 15th Nov: Painted portraits
Week 6 22nd Nov: Paper portraits
Week 7: 29th Nov: Abstract inside out
Week 8: 6th Dec: Manga styling
