Melbourne based Ernest Aines, brings his dreamy Americana/al-folk music to Odessa at Leavers Hotel. He loves this part of Victoria and its appreciative audiences and the intimate room at Odessa’s.Come along to celebrate the multi award winning folk singer’s album release - Spiral Bound - for an evening of divine music and some tales from his recent travels to the wilds of Canada. Ernest’s soulful voice spotlights his songs that draws comparisons to the work of Ray Lamontagne, Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake.
Special Guest is Naarm's\Melbourne's Seren Spain, formerly of Australian Folk band "Paper St Soap Company".
Seren grew up in England and spent her days busking around the cobblestone laneways there.
Her lyrics showcase a leaning towards whimsy and otherworldly narratives.
