You›re invited to join us for an afternoon of learning how to grow Australian Native plants from both seeds and cuttings.Carolena Helderman from the Euroa Arboretum and the associated Native Seed Bank, and Goulburn Murray Landcare Network, will present a workshop on growing native plants from seed.
And Dianne Plattfus, a member of the Koyuga/Kanyapella Landcare Group, will the present a workshop on propagation from cuttings. Dianne is a former Native Plant nursery owner who uses cuttings as a very cost effective method of native plant propagation.
When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023 from 1.00pm
Where: Koyuga Hall - 961 O’Dea Road, Koyuga
Cost: $5 per person. Afternoon tea provided. Places are limited.
Workshop participants will get to take home some planted cuttings so will need to bring one seedling punnet, small sharp pointed scissors and a solid, waterproof tray to put the punnet on.
