In Kooyong, housing is a growing area of concern. More people are experiencing homelessness, while some families are struggling to buy groceries as rent and mortgage repayments go up. For some students who can’t afford their rent, more people accessing specialist homelessness services, and organisations struggling to cope with demand for long-term housing for people with additional needs.
