Colm Broderick and Francis Cunningham will be teaching workshops in uilleann pipes and anglo concertina. Learn instrumental technique, style and approach from some of Ireland's most promising musicians.
These workshops are held on Melbourne Cup Day - what better way to spend your public holiday!
11.30am - 12.45pm: Uilleann pipes workshop (beginner level)
11.30am - 12.45pm: Anglo concertina workshop (beginner level)
1.30pm - 2.45pm: Uilleann pipes workshop (intermediate level)
1.30pm - 2.45pm: Anglo concertina workshop (intermediate level)
4.00pm - 5.30pm: All Irish traditional music melody instruments. Suited for all levels. This workshop will include tune-learning, and approach to playing Irish traditional music.
Presented by Celtic Piping Club in celebration of its 10th Anniversary, with support from Culture Ireland.
