Join us at the beautiful Duxton Hotel in Perth for this 1 day mini Vet Connect Transition seminar. The event will involve a range of activities, including a representative from BAE Systems to talk about employment opportunities and moving forward after transition, accredited guest speakers and a fun interactive mosaic craftwork activity. The Soldier On staff will be in attendance to help make your transitional process easier!

Throughout the day, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

This event will be in an intimate setting with a maximum of 15 participants. Open to Female Veterans and Spouses Only.

Vet Connect – Transitioning is an innovative early intervention support program designed to reduce the trajectory of known mental health impacts on veterans during initial transitions and planning for transition timing. This program will provide improved transition outcomes, including skill building for reconnecting and re-establishing roles within the family, as well as reintegrating into a new or established community, successful preparedness for entering the workforce.

Vet Connect-transitioning cultivates opportunities for making social connections with peers throughout the seminar, by providing diverse and engaging activities along with workshops focused on inclusion and resource support for those members about to transition, or who have recently transitioned, from the Defence Forces to civilian life to combat the negative health effects of social isolation
