Celebrating St Kilda’s endorsement as Victoria’s first 'Live Music Precinct'. Join us for a timely panel discussion on visual artists, musicians, live music and St Kilda, plus a last viewing of 'St Kilda's Alright! Art and artists in the 1980s'.Panelists include:
Jon Cattapan - visual artist, Director, VCA, Faculty of Fine Arts and Music.
Maya Vice - RnB, soul and electronic jazz musician making waves both in Australia and internationally.
DELSINKI - local musician with ARIA chart hits who is no stranger to the St Kilda live music scene.
Moderator - Maddy MacFarlane, PBS radio host and PhD Researcher at the University of Melbourne.
Following the panel, guests will be invited to enjoy a curated playlist as they view the exhibition one last time before it closes.
The exhibition presents works from the Port Phillip City Collection by artists who played a role in advancing St Kilda’s creative culture during the 1980s. Incl. Jenny Watson, Howard Arkley and more.
