About
Indian Australian Multicultural Association Incorporation (IAMCA) is a non-profit community organisation, which was started by Team Envision, a group of students who dreamed to bring their culture and spread the love, in September 2019. We aim to promote multicultural traditions through festivals and celebrations.IAMCA is organising Ganesh Utsav event this year again. Ganesh Chaturthi is the celebration of the birth of Lord Ganesh who represents prosperity, wisdom. We celebrate in authentic way of 11 days with prayers, Aarthi and annaprasad (offering food) every day for more than 150 people.
The last day of the festival which is September 30 th 2022 is big and we are bringing community together to celebrate and complete the Ganesh festival by immersing the Idol. We celebrate with prayers, processions, music, performances, cultural activities, food and most importantly bringing everyone together. Around 3000 people attend this event to celebrate together from all over the Australia.
