Online: The “Infinite” Nature of Space

Where does Earth, our Home, end and Space begin? As humans venture further into space, should we bring Home with us and what challenges might this present?

From tackling Space Junk to sending humans to the Moon and Mars, our concepts of Home and Nature will shape our future in space and how we use it. Join the Australian Space Discovery Centre as we explore Nature on Earth and in Space in this special presentation and Q&A.

This event will be hosted in-centre and streamed online so audiences across Australia can participate in the conversation. Those in the centre are also encouraged to continue exploring the “Nature of Home” on Earth and in Space in our Space Gallery, Space Garden, and through conversations with our Space Communicator team.

Suggested ages: 12+, 1 hour duration.

The Department may collect from all ticket purchases and event registrations on the TryBooking online ticketing platform, personal information including name, physical address, email address, telephone number and date of birth for the purposes of registering your attendance at events and issuing ticketing information. The Australian Space Discovery Centre may use your email to contact you to provide feedback on your experience. 

• Your personal information may be disclosed to TryBooking and its staff, ASDC staff and/ or other Department staff, and its staff. Your information may also be used for the department’s internal reporting purposes. The Department may also be required to provide some personal information to state and federal health authorities for the purposes of contact tracing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Personal Information obtained will be stored and held in accordance with the Department’s obligations under the Archives Act 1983 (Cth). Personal information obtained will only be used and disclosed for the purposes outlined above and will not be used or disclosed without your consent, except where authorised or required by law.
