PAANDA presents Gita Bezard's 'Girl Shut Your Mouth' as our 2023 semester 2 production, directed by Pip Hunter and Sophie Kelly.Girl Shut Your Mouth follows four young girls as they attempt to make their way into a safe place away from the violence filled world they live in.
We are excited to share this story with the community and offer it as an opportunity to consider how desensitised the world has become to gendered violence.
The performance is one act so will run for approx 60mins with no intermission.
CONTENT WARNING: This production explores challenging content about gender-based violence to help start important conversations in our community. It contains strong language, gun violence, sexual violence, and mentions of death. We advise ticket purchases to be for 18yrs+.
