For 13 years this community has supported the Pink Ribbon Breakfast and in more recent years
the Pink Ribbon Cocktail Party. Funds raised from this event go to the National Breast Cancer
Foundation (NBCF).
Flinders Lions shall once again coordinate a cocktail party at the Flinders Yacht Club.
Dress code: Ladies – Cocktail, Gentlemen – Jacket, no tie required.
Theme: a touch of pink.
Join us for drinks & canapes plus a very interesting & informative talk from our guest speaker.

The guest speaker is Shoreham local, Associate Professor Heather Thorne AM.

Professor Thorne has been the national manager of kConFab since it started in 1997. This foundation brings together over 300 healthcare professionals around Australia and New Zealand, including clinical geneticists, breast surgeons, oncologists, psychosocial researchers, scientists, and community representatives. These professionals all work as one to find better health outcomes for families at high risk of breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer. |
