In this hands-on workshop, woodcarving artist Theresa Darmody will show you how to carve your own beautiful wooden spoon. Participants will learn how to safely and efficiently use a carving knife, drawknife and gouge. You'll also get tips on how to best finish off your spoon with scrapers, sandpaper, burnishers and oil. No experience necessary, Theresa is passionate about sharing her woodcarving skills and believes everyone can carve a beautiful and functional spoon.
Tools, timber and gloves will be provided, please wear closed-in shoes.
