George Washingmachine + Practical Girls - Sat 25 Nov 7pm
George Washingmachine is a vocalist and violin player who has been involved in the entertainment industry since last century. He has worked in television, theatre & film. He finds the greatest pleasure though in travelling around Australia and various parts of the world playing music and making art.
‘Practical Girls’ is Suzy Goodwin & John Morgan: an acoustic duo of folky-pop with a touch of urgency thrown in for good measure. Spawned by musical combos such as ‘Nat King Coke’, Exit Laughing & ‘Eating Planes’, the ‘Practical Girls’ were members of the backing band for ‘Cindy 2000’, a precursor to Cindy Ryan’s ‘Stella One Eleven’. Expect some lovely harmonies amongst the interplay of their voices and a nice range of guitar stylings from the “oh soooo very tall John” that will have the “somewhat more diminutive Suzy”
Limited Seating - arrive early. No table bookings taken.
Gigs are OVER 18s ONLY. You may like to book a footpath table for under 18's.
