Parents of Rainbow Youth
In a safe and supportive environment, this 6-week group will provide an opportunity for parents to connect and share common experiences, explore shared challenges and reflect on Jewish values for inclusivity.
The group will unpack the LGBTQI+ glossary of terms, how to effectively support Rainbow youth, impacts of straight culture and managing change.
Group facilitator:
Brandon Srot brings over 12 years of clinical experience to his work as a counsellor and psychotherapist. He works in private practice with individuals and couples- both heterosexual and queer- who are navigating trauma, grief and relationship challenges. Brandon founded a cultural group for gay Jews in Sydney and is a former member of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies LGBTQI+ Working Party.
