ABOUT ORAHSYDNEY:
One of the fundamental principles of being Jewish, as written in the Torah is to be a “light unto the nations” (Isaiah 42:6). ORAHSYDNEY is a not-for-profit organisation that offers a transformative educational and experiential year of learning program to mothers raising Jewish children in order for them to thrive, enrich their families and strengthen our community. Through a modern lens approach that embraces unity without uniformity, we educate them about their rich Jewish heritage, inspire them with the wisdom of their Jewish values, engage them with their homeland Israel and connect them to a wonderful inclusive and supportive sisterhood. We believe the values a mother lives by and instills in her children is the key to Jewish continuity.
