Bio
Breana Stillman is an Australian opera singer, who performs regularly in concerts and festivals throughout Europe, Australia, the UK, and the US. Breana is passionate about bringing opera to new audiences, and in 2019 founded the charity OperAffinity, which uses music as a therapy to inspire and educate. In its first year, OperAffinity was able to work with 6,000 children in Kenya. Through her extensive knowledge of the opera world, and her passion for Italy and keeping the joy of the art form flourishing, Breana has founded a music festival in Italy that celebrates both the joy of opera and classical music, and the beauty of the region in Italy.
Bio
Michael Petruccelli – Tenor
Renowned for his ‘pure, glowing tenor’, Michael Petruccelli is one of Australia’s emerging operatic stars.
Major appearances in 2016/2017 included Stephen Goldring (The Eighth Wonder) and Pedro (Two Weddings, One Bride) for Opera Australia and Arturo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Beppe (Pagliacci) and The Minister (The Princess and the Pea) for Victorian Opera.
On the concert platform, Michael has taken the tenor solos in Schubert’s Missa Brevis in G Major, Mozart’s Missa Brevis in D Major and Coronation Mass, Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël, Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai and Bach’s Magnificat and St. Matthew Passion.
His regular recital collaborations have included the series Night and Day (with associate artist Elyane Laussade), Brahms’ Liebeslieder-Walzer with The Team of Pianists and Britten’s The Heart of the Matter and Canticle III (‘Still Falls the Rain’) with Ensemble Goldentree.
Formerly a Melba Opera Trust Scholar, Michael completed a Master of Music in Opera Performance at the University of Melbourne. He was twice a finalist in the Lady Fairfax New York Scholarship and was a winner of both the Richard Bonynge Study Scholarship and the RJ and AF Hamer Opera Scholarship,
In 2018, Michael Petruccelli returned to Opera Australia as Goro in their touring production of Madama Butterfly before taking up a full-time young artist position with Oper Frankfurt. 2019 roles include Basilio/Don Curzio in Le nozze di Figaro for Oper Frankfurt, Pedro (Two Weddings, One Bride) for Opera Australia and Aquillo (Farnace) for Pinchgut Opera.
In 2021/2022, Michael sang Almaviva in The Barber of Seville for West Australian Opera; for Victorian Opera, he appeared in Parrawang Lifts the Sky, Le Mesurier in Voss for State Opera of South Australia and Jason in Medée for Pinchgut Opera. In 2023, he returns to Victorian Opera in Galileo and Capriccio and to Pinchgut Opera for The Pleasures of Versailles.

Daniel Felton Baritone V8
Baritone Daniel Felton has over 20 years of experience in operatic performance, dance and
musical theatre. After performing in VCAA’s Top Class Concert of 2013, Daniel completed
his Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Since
then, he has worked with numerous opera companies in Australia and overseas, including
Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Victoria, Lyric Opera of Melbourne, iOpera, Melbourne Opera,
Opera Australia, and Australian International Productions.
His chorus credits include Carmen, Fidelio, Götterdämmerung, La Traviata and the
Australian premier of Wagner’s Rienzi. In 2020, Daniel was heavily featured in the Yarra
Valley Opera Festival with the Australia Contemporary Opera Company and continued to be
involved with several contemporary productions with them including Philip Glass and
Leonard Cohen’s The Book of Longing in 2022.
Some major roles to his name are ‘Papageno’ from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, ‘Schaunard’
from Puccini’s La Boheme. and ‘Jack Point’ in Sullivan’s Yeoman of the Guard. Most
recently, Daniel played the role of Dr Falke in Savoy Opera Company’s production of Die
Fledermaus by Johan Strauss II.
In 2023, Daniel took 2nd place on ‘The Talent’ on 3MBS Radio, and was also a finalist for the
99th Herald Sun Aria Competition where he was awarded runner-up. He also continues to
work as an artist with the Richard Divall Developing Artist Program whilst preparing for the
role of ‘Count Almaviva’ in their upcoming production of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.
