St George Hospital Breastfeeding Class
About
The St George Hospital Breastfeeding Class is free to all women booked to have their baby at St George Hospital.
We suggest you attend a class before 30 weeks of pregnancy.
Your partner / support person is encouraged to attend with you (you only need to book one ticket for both of you).
Breastfeeding Classes are are held in the Maternity Ward (1 South) at St George Hospital (the Maternity Ward is on the first floor above the main entrance to the hospital).
Bring your pregnancy card (yellow card) to your class.

Evening breastfeeding classes are also available for women birthing at St George Hospital for a small fee ($35). To book go to the St George (face to face class) or Sutherland (online class) Hospitals' Websites. Click on services and clinics, Women's and children's health, Childbirth and parenting programs. Your support person is encouraged to attend with you.
