Gyan Yankovich, a writer and lifestyle editor for the SMH and The Age, formerly worked in New York, holding editorial roles at Man Repeller and BuzzFeed, contributing to other publications such as The Cut, Vox, The Guardian, VICE, and more, exploring lifestyle, culture, and relationships.Her debut book, Just Friends, explores modern friendship—what it means to be, to make, and sometimes, to lose a friend. It is a celebration of friendship, shining a light on the many different forms they can take and the comfort they provide, whether they exist within the workplace, emerge in motherhood, are uncovered inside our neighbourhoods, or become our chosen family.
Join us for a conversation with Gyan Yankovich and Gina Rushton, followed by a signing after the event. Books will be available for purchase on the night.
Tickets include a welcome drink. Doors open from 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start, seating is unallocated so arrive early to secure your spot!
