Celebrate International Day of People with Disability 2023 with Dancenorth Australia and Townsville Community Learning Centre.
International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations sanctioned day that celebrates the contributions and achievements of people with disability and promotes awareness, understanding and acceptance in our community.
Each year, Dancenorth collaborates with a group of students from Townsville Community Learning Centre to create an original dance performance. This year, the group has been inspired by their favourite places.
International Day of People with Disability will be Auslan interpreted and include inclusive participatory dance opportunity for all mobilities.
