Community Water Safety Session - Docklands (SOLD OUT)
About
Life Saving Victoria’s Multicultural Meet a Lifeguard program is an interactive session designed to educate students and community groups about how to make safe decisions when enjoying inland and coastal aquatic environments.The day will include:
• 9.30-10am Morning tea & welcome
• 10-11am Meet a Lifeguard session delivered by Life-saving Victoria
• 11-11:30am Water safety around the Docklands delivered by City of Melbourne
• 11:30-1pm Sporting activities hosted by Reclink
• 12:30pm onwards BBQ lunch
The 1-hour Meet the Lifeguard session is conducted by a lifeguard and covers the following topics.

Beach Safety and Awareness
Inland Waterway Safety
Water Safety Signage
Rescue Techniques
