Sydney Women Unite For Chanukah
Let us share in the meaningful rituals of this festival of lights, together lighting the 4th night of the Chanukah candles and being spiritually inspired, guided in meditation, sharing stories and with soul stirring song.
Cost is $36 per head - proceeds going to both local and international funds supporting Israel. A light supper and drinks will be served and we encourage everyone to bring along their chanukiah for candle lighting.

Orah in Hebrew means feminine light, which aptly represents our mission to ignite a woman’s soul in a supportive sisterhood so she can thrive, and in doing so fulfill one of our fundamental principles of the Jewish people....to be a light unto the nation.
Prior to the war against Hamas starting, our program was for mothers raising Jewish children. We now see our place as a space for all Jewish women to find meaning to their Judaism and support in their sisterhood.
