About
This workshop is designed for Secondary Teachers in mainstream, education support and learning support roles. It will provide information on:• Ideas for developing a more inclusive culture in classes
• Designing effective and flexible learning plans and lessons
• Building relationships
• Working effectively with Education Assistants in the classroom
• Building confidence for students to self-advocate
• Building disability knowledge and awareness
• Practical inclusive strategies and ideas for lessons
You will also have the opportunity to hear the schooling experience of a young person living with disability
The workshop will be tailored to the group's needs and will be interactive throughout, with opportunities to share and learn from each other and the presenters.
