About
In their 21st year as a band, The Sand Pebbles new LP The Antagonist has been said to be:
- “Push(ing) the boundaries in delivering superb-quality and ever-evolving psychedelic rock music…..to release what is arguably their finest work to date, The Antagonist“ (Backseat Mafia).
- "Inscrutable, hazy airs and guitars plus a touch of The Velvets.... (with)..... Andrew Tanner's Robert Forster-type voice" (The Big Take Over (US))
- "Floating into focus on a patchouli-scented rug of raga and infectious beat ... (an) ..... arresting trip into the promised land of electric jangle and the twang of cello which once filled Laurel Canyon with pastoral echoes" (4 and 2/3 stars, Let It Rock (US))
They launched this new LP Northside at Northcote Social Club to a packed room on Melbourne Cup, now it is time for a special Southside show to present this new release at George Lane.
