About
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Welcome to the booking page for Birth and Parenting Classes at Fairfield Hospital.
These online classes will help prepare you for labour and birth and make informed decisions about your care. They also build knowledge and confidence in caring for your newborn.
• Comprehensive, FREE ONLINE sessions facilitated by Registered Midwife/Parent Educator
• SIX consecutive Thursday evenings from 6.30pm-9pm
• For expectant parents and their support people booked at Fairfield Hospital
• Parents are encouraged to book their classes early, to be commenced at 28-32 weeks
• One ticket per person (i.e. Two tickets for a couple), covers 6 session
Week 1: LABOUR & BIRTH
Week 2: WORKING WITH PAIN and THE BIRTH ENVIRONMENT
Week 3: MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Week 4: POSTNATAL PERIOD
Week 5: CARING FOR YOUR NEWBORN
Week 6: BREASTFEEDING
Once booked, you will receive an email confirming your spot, then further details several days prior to your session.
