Warwick Adeney, esteemed Australian violin virtuoso and former concertmaster of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra returns to Noosa to perform with beloved local pianist Janet Brewer, and born-and-bred Noosa clarinettist Sacha Gibbs-McPhee, who is establishing his chamber music concert series: Coastal Cadenzas with this inaugural performance of works by Brahms, Ravel, Piazzolla, and the very famous trio by Armenian composer Khachaturian - known for his captivating blend of eastern and western harmonies, melodies, and rhythms. Another feature is a joyful and humorous work by French composer Darius Milhaud.Over the years, chamber music festivals have come and gone from the Noosa region, but Coastal Cadenzas is unique. Growing up in Noosa, musical director Sacha Gibbs-McPhee understands the tastes and personality of his own beloved local community and promises to present world class chamber music performances, with a mission to only perform beautiful, pleasing, and euphonious music.
