2024 Platinum Drivers Experiences (SOLD OUT)
About
Welcome to Mornington Tourist Railway’s Platinum Driver Experience program to drive a steam locomotive or heritage diesel locomotive.The day’s experience includes:
• Safety briefing & guest driver instruction
• Driving the locomotive to Mornington and return
• Assembling carriages (shunting) to build a train at Moorooduc
• Driving a second trip to Mornington with family and friends travelling in carriages
• Presentation of Certificate/s of Achievement
Optional catering:
• Morning Sessions, morning tea and lunch for participant, lunch for guests.
• Afternoon Sessions, lunch and afternoon teas for participants, afternoon tea for guest.
Costings:
• Diesel Drivers Experience: $950.00 single, $1100.00 double
• Steam Drivers Experience: $1495.00 single, $1645.00 double
This application is subject to:
• Acceptance by Mornington Railway Preservation Society
• Confirmation of availability to the applicant.
• Subject to reading and accepting all terms
