About
The aim of this 8-week course is to explore and develop your skills in the exciting world of mixed media art works. You will be guided in the process and application of several techniques including, painting, drawing, printmaking, stencilling, phototransfer and collage, using a variety of media including acrylic paints, mediums and pens, inks, charcoal, and gesso. You will learn the importance of composition, image layering, mediums, and papers in the construction of small or large works on different surfaces. No experience is required for this course you will be guided step-by-step through each process and encouraged to combine the ones you like into one layered art work.Anne has been a practicing artist and active in the world of visual arts and education for over 30 years. She holds several qualifications in the field including a Dip. Vis Arts, BAVA, MEd, DipEd and EdD.
Her passion is to educate and enable anyone to discover their creative selves.
