Knitting for Beginners
About
This Learn to knit class is designed for absolute beginners and new knitters that would like to increase their knitting skill set.You will learn the basic stitches, texture, colour and sewing up over 4 weeks into a fun cute project.
Week 4 is when all the magic happens and you put all your newly learned skills together creating a fabulous take home project.
This class will also incorporate learning to read a simple knitting pattern.
Week 1 - Cast on, Knit St, Purl St, Cast off
Week 2 - Working with texture (mixing knit and purl stitches)
Week 3 - Working with colour in your knitting
Week 4 - Sewing up your pieces of the past few weeks into a cute little project that encompasses all you have learnt.
All materials are provided.
